Hope City Church is an associate church of the Evangelical Missionary Church of Canada (EMCC), and is led by Pastor Kevin Mast, who is an accredited minister with the EMCC.

We believe church should be uncomplicated.
church is not about
Beautiful buildings and stained glass.
Being religious on Sundays, or just at Christmas and Easter.
Attending programs or following a set list of rules.
Church IS about people.
People who are devoted to following Jesus, together, and who live out His kind of love in our city.
Maybe you're not following Jesus, yet... We're not going to shove anything down your throat! We just want the chance to show you Jesus by the way we live our lives and bring Hope to our City.

There are plenty of churches in Barrie, meeting in communities and in corners of the city where they serve well. But it's time for this kind of church, a group of people who love God and love others,to gather where we are needed most: in the Heart of Barrie, downtown.
